The World of Darkness setting has been packed full of vampires but the follow-up to Vampire: The Masquerade has been in the works ever since. Well, now it looks like the second tabletop RPG set in the World of Darkness is finally on its way. With two Vampire games already on the market and a third on the way, this is great news, and we’ll get our first true look at E3 2019 when the game is finally showcased. It hasn’t been an easy road, either, when you consider the game has been in the works for a few years now.
Back in 2017, Werewolf: The Apocalypse was being developed by Cyanide and Focus Home, but Focus Home has folded, and publisher Bigben has taken the reigns. And, with Bigben as the publisher, a new subtitle will come into play too. The game will officially be called Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood. All we know about the game so far, outside of its E3 2019 debut, is that it will be an action-RPG that is focused around an exiled werewolf who returns home to help his clan. PC Gamer reports that the game will even involve managing a rage characteristic.
While the game will be showcased at E3 2019, don’t expect it to be available until at least some time in early 2020 if not later on in fall of 2020.
