First of all, this may look like the Age of Empire we all know and love, but this game takes strategy to an all-new level. It starts like any other strategy game where you have to gather resources, expand your territory, create an army, and go to war. Besides this standard line, we also get to choose how our people will evolve, and which side they will choose. Every choice you make will decide the final stage of the game.
Starting in the “Stone Age,” there will be no difference between the players, all feature equal forces and the same options. Bronze Age will be the first move in our “path”, where we will improve our village and people, but also when we’ll have to choose where we want to go – Asia or Europe. Neither of which off any big changes besides the general village design.
The Middle Ages will allow us to improve once again, with four different options:
Western Europe- will be represented by strong, fortified walls and “great defense”
Eastern Europe- powerful and fearless warriors
Eastern Asia- they will dominate in numbers and advanced “war machines”
West Asia- a powerful fleet and the most important feature: you get to ride elephants!
Industrial age will define you until the game’s end. You will have to choose from the available countries and become a single, unified country. These countries include:
- Spain
- France
- Germany
- Britain
- Ukraine
- Turkey
- India
- Egypt
- China
- Korea
- Poland
- Japan
You can play on different mods, which will make the game easier or raise its difficulty way too high:
- Sandbox: is the perfect mod if you want to evolve with no problems and only raise your civilization.
- Survival mode: You must prepare and defend against enemy attacks, which will become even powerfull as you progress further.
- FFA and Team Match: You must defend one of the World’s wanders
- Armageddon: Explore and conquer your enemies, as meteors will shower your land by the minute.
War Selection is available to play on PC.
