See you later August, it’s time to see what September has prepared for us. Many new games are coming our way in the next few months, but September has one hell of a roster lined up that could have us spending some serious cheddar on our gaming addiction. Here are the 5 games coming this month that you don’t want to pass up.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
If you’re not familar with the story, Link, our main character, finds himself on an intriguing island with new and strange inhabitants. Join Link’s journey as he travels the island searching for special items, in this case, a “magical instrument” required to escape the island. The instrument in question will give you the ability to evoke the Wind Fish.
Explore a completely different world that’s still built on the same criteria as the original game. Oh, and you better prepare to fight Super Mario enemies too, but keep in mind that you better use your weapons instead of jumping on top of them. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will be available on Nintendo Switch starting September 20, 2019
Basketball fans have to wait no more, as the NBA 2k20 is coming out this month. We can choose from all 12 WNBA teams, and we will even have access to loot boxes and lots of gambling mechanics because, well, it’s 2019….duh. You have the opportunity to choose from 4 versions: Standard. Digital, Deluxe, and Legend. Each one of them with different rewards: currency and in-game items, all according to the package you choose. NBA 2k20 is available for pre-ordiing now and launch September 6 2019, on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
Ok, so maybe this isn’t an entirely new game, but it is an expansion, and it still counts as far as we’re concerned. It looks as though the Monster Hunter World’s community will be once again amazed by this new expansion. This expansion adds a new cold region: Hoarfrost Reach. This new region is filled with brand new creatures that we’ve never seen before, ready to be put down, as well as creatures that only appeared in the game legends and myths. This new expansion also brings a new difficulty: Master. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be released on PS4, PC and Xbox One on September 6th, 2019
Four new characters will be ready to start the search for the Vault on Pandora: Amara the Siren, Moze the Gunner, Zane the Operative, and the Beastmaster FL4K. Guns, lots of guns, await you, just to be used against the forces of evil. You will be able to travel to other planest besides Pandora across the Sanctuary 3. Borderlands 3 will be available on September 13 on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
After the trailer had given us the thrill for adventure, along with some drama, we will discover Kait Diaz and her past in just a few days. We will be able to choose to play the campaign, as a training season for new players or those who love the fun of a storyline, or multiplayer. Halo: Reach characters will even be present in the horde mode as part of some new changes. In this mode, our characters will also have abilities and special attacks. The “escape” mode now has more interesting characters in the endless quest to eradicate the Locust hives scattered around the land and heavily defended. Gears 5 will be released on September 10th and will be available on Xbox One and PC.
