Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen the initial evidence that MW2 Remastered was coming, and just last week dataminers found several remastered images for Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered, so we knew for sure it was coming. Now, Charlie Intel has posted what is most likely the legitimate launch trailer for the MW2 Campaign. Check it out:

In the trailer, you’ll notice that, above all else, there is drastic improvement across the board from the original MW2. As you’d expect Captain John Price makes his appearance, and there are a few other fan-favorite characters as well. The trailer says the game is “available now,” but as you already know, the campaign remaster isn’t exactly out yet. Some outlets are claiming that the game will likely launch tomorrow, March 31st, but there are more credible reports that say it’s going to launch as a free add-on to the 2020 entry to the Call of Duty Series, which could be a remaster of its own based on one of the older Black Ops games.
Finally, we have to add in that the trailer hints toward a new Call of Duty Warzone bundle, known as “Underwater Demo Team – Classic Ghost Bundle.” It apparently includes the UDT Ghost Operator Skin, blueprints for the 1911 piston and M4A1 assault rifle, and a few other goodies. It seems as if this bundle will be included with the campaign, hinting that the MW2 Campaign Remaster will be sold as a stand-alone DLC instead of being packaged with the next COD game. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens and whether or not it actually launches tomorrow.
