Taur, A New Tower Defense Game, Has Finally Launched

There are a lot of games nowadays. Most of them require constant planning, decision making based on the situation, and a combination of skill and luck. What happened to the old games? The ones where you could have fun just by pressing a few buttons and enjoy how your enemies fall before you. There are a lot of ways to have fun gaming, but if you need a break from your routine, or you are at work and want to get five minutes of peace, maybe Taur is the game for you.

Taur is a  tower defense game, where more and more enemies will try to destroy your precious tower, but we can’t let that happen, can we? In most defense games, your defense will kill enemies automatically, but here, you must choose where you want to attack, waves of enemies will come, but not all at once, so you should focus on the ones closer. If speed is not a problem, focus on the most powerful (usually the big ones.)

The game is pretty standard until you upgrade your tower, then the slow-moving wave, the “meteor hits, or the “tower guards” appear. The game will become a show of colors, flashing images, and lots and lots of dead enemies. There are different terrains where the game takes place, so you won’t get bored with the same place over and over and, with a pretty large “skill tree,” you can only hope for more enemies and even more upgrades.

Every time you play, you will be able to improve on a certain ability. Maybe you want to see them moving with a negative speed, or you want to see how a big meteor crushes an entire group with no struggle – everything is possible and the fun is guaranteed.

You can find the game on steam, 10% off, at only $18,89
