The Story Behind Resident Evil 3 Remake
The storyline of Resident Evil 3 Remake is very much that of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis from 20 years ago. The year is 1998, and you play the role of Jill Valentine in the time between the incident at Spencer Mansion and incident in the police station that saw Leon and Claire go through their own hell. RE3, for intents and purposes could have been called Resident Evil 1.5, but we’ll leave that discussion for another day. Jill is a survived of the Spencer Mountain incident, and she finds herself in Racoon City with the goal of exposing the Umbrella Corporation for the outbreak of zombies. The problem is that Umbrella is out to eliminate every surviving S.T.A.R.S member to keep the conspiracy a secret from the outside world. To succeed, Umbrella has released Nemesis, the ultimate bioweapon...
Resident Evil 3 Remake might not be quite as long as Resident Evil 2 was, but there are still a few safes and a couple of lockers that you can open to get a little extra help. There is honestly nothing groundbreaking about what you find in any of the safes or lockers, but you can get your hands on things like a dot sight for your handgun, a flash grenade, some extra ammo, and even a dual magazine for the assault rifle. Oddly enough, a couple of these are from Resident Evil 2, so you’ve probably seen them before.
With that said, here’s a pair of charts to tell help you crack the codes.

If feels like game moders work so fast that game developers have to get jealous, and that's why we're here today. If you want to make Resident Evil 3 more creepy, you can try this new Animal Crossing mod.
The mod is called Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You’ve heard of Animal Crossing, especially in the last few days, as some publications flooded their feed with news about it. This mod will add familiar masks to the main characters, Jill Valentine and Isabelle. Apparently, people will enjoy playing with something more “cute” in a horror game.
The creator of the mod, who goes by the name “Crazy Potato,” described the mod in just one short sentence: “Jill is a fan.” Now, I will not look into the lore and search if that’s true cause I am afraid of what else I might find, but I know...
Jill Valentine’s escape from Raccoon City is fraught with danger, but she still has some dependable allies to rely on… as well as some enemies to watch out for. Jill won’t just be the star of Resident Evil 3, though – she’ll also be added as a playable Survivor in Resident Evil Resistance in a future update.

The Resident
Evil 3 Demo just launched on March 19th, and now Capcom as
launched a very intriguing trailer that shows off none other than Jill, her
role in multiplayer, what the people of Raccoon City mean to her, and her indifference
to Carlos.
The trailer only runs about three minutes long, but the big
takeaway here is that Jill will be a playable protagonist in Resident
Evil: Resistance. If you’re not in the know, Resistance is an all-new
online multiplayer that will be bundled with Resident Evil 3 remastered, but is
said to reside
on a completely different timeline. However, she won’t be available right from
the start but will be added in later on as an update.
The other big surprise is that the trailer shows off a lot of
RE3 single player mode, following Jill as she tries to save some of Racoon City’s
non-zombie population. Oddly, we get to see quite a...

The remake for Resident Evil 2
was a huge success, but there’s at least a handful of things that drove players
crazy. One of those things was the destructible knife – something that was only
meant to be used defensively as a last resort during attack. In Resident Evil 3,
however, the knife will be strong once again and it won’t break. This means
that, among other things, a hardcore knife run is possible.
"We kept the knife
inexhaustible , so you can use it forever,"
In an interview with Game Informer, game producer Peter
Fabiano explained things in a little more detail. In the right hands, the knife
can even be used as your sole weapon. Be that as it may, it’s still really
there as an emergency backup – you know, when you run out of bullets. No matter
what, it’ll still be there.
"We're dealing with survival horror and everything is exhaustible....

If you want a taste of what Resident Evil 3 remake brings to the table, here’s your answer. The demo version will be available to play on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC starting March 19th. If you’re not a single-player fan, then you should try the beta multiplayer of Resident Evil Resistance, which will be available beginning March 27th. The multiplayer will be available for a limited time, though, so don't get too attached. We don’t know until when multiplayer will go offline, so enjoy it while you still can. The real deal, the Resident Evil 3 Remake, will launch this April, with no further information available at this time.
The developers sure are under a lot of pressure after the release of Resident Evil 2 remake, which was a big success and widely loved by the fans. The Resident Evil 3 remake should...
The remake of Resident Evil 3 is going to be pretty awesome,
however, just like it was in Resident Evil 2, Capcom is taking some creative
liberties. So, Resident Evil 3, while quite similar, will be a little
different. One of the main mechanics that you might actually miss, Live
Selections, has been nixed from the remake.
What is Live Selections and Why is it Removed from Resident Evil
3 Remake
In the original Resident Evil 3, Live Selections gave you a
choice to make before most of the dangerous situations in the game. This selection,
altered the overall story of the game. That made the game interesting and
allowed you to play it more than once with a different ending. But, why was it
removed from Resident Evil 3 Remake? Well, co-producer Pete Fabiano gives us a
fairly decent reason:
"So with this , the director wanted to tell a consistent story with Jill, and...
On the onset, it seemed as if Resident Evil: Resistance
would be a spin-off that tied in with the rest of the series, but as it turns
out, that couldn’t be further from the truth despite the fact that it’s bundled
in with Resident Evil 3 Remake.
Word comes directly from Resident Evil 3 producer, Peter
Fabiano, who told Official PlayStation Magazine that Resistance follows a
different timeline.
basically set in Raccoon City with scenarios that make it impossible to fit in the actual timeline familiar enemies and characters like Mastermind.]
This is part of the reason why
Capcom has decided to package Resistance together with Resident Evil 3. The
connection between the two games is purely thematic. In the same interview,
Fabiano continued:
You’ll remember that the Japanese subtitle for RE3 was Last Escape. Both of these titles have characters that are trying to escape somewhere or something, so thematically it...
You probably knew that the Resident Evil 3 remake was coming, but what you didn’t know is that it was developed alongside the Resident Evil 2 remake, and that means that some things will carry over? The most important aspect of this carryover is the fact that some of the AI that made Mr. X so brutal in RE2 will be implemented into Nemesis in RE3.
A long story short, RE3 won’t be a completely open world,
but the map will be opened up significantly compared to the original and
Nemesis will play a big part in that. Much like Mr. X was able to tear through
almost the entire police station in RE2, Nemesis will be able to show up just
about anywhere on the RE3 map – a huge change compared to the original game.
We certainly took some elements that we learning from putting together...
