If you’re unaware, PUBG was just the subject of a major upgrade that allows you to push game performance up to 60 FPS on the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. Now, PUBG Corp has announced that PUBG will be making the move to the Xbox Series X, Series S, and PS5, and will be available on launch day. It’s said the game will be taking advantage of next-gen hardware, but will it really?
According to PUBG Corp., PUBG will be available on launch day, so you’ll be able to download it to your new Series XS or PS5 right away. As a reminder, that’s November 10th for the new Series XS, and November 12 for the PS5. Those of you in the U.K. and Europe, will get your next-gen consoles on November 19 and PUBG will be waiting. The big news is that PUBG...
If you think that Fortnite had some strange crossover events, then brace yourself, because PUBG is about to put it to shame - at least for a while. The new PUBG crossover event is known as Fantasy Battle Royale. It starts on April 1st and will run for an entire week. It may seem difficult for some, mainly if you’re not used to weapons and spells, as for the first time guns won’t be the essential part of the game. The event will bring more than skins, too as right before starting a match you will be able to choose between four different classes:
Every class will have its own unique abilities, which you will need to learn pretty fast if you want to win the game. The event will also bring theme-related rewards. The crossover event may be unbalanced, as even the developers announced...
The upcoming 6.2 updates will mark an important event in the life of PUBG, and perhaps in the life of other games in the near future. For the first time, Xbox One players will be able to team up with their PlayStation friends and play PUBG in the same party. To be clear, though, the cross-over between these two platforms is nothing new - previously players from both Xbox and PS4 we're able to shoot at each other and be in the same match, but not in the same party/Group/Team/Duo. Now, we can actually play together, and tha'ts pretty awesome.
You can think at this feature as one of the most important for PUBG's developers, as they even mentioned it first in their 6.2 patch notes, alongside the new Team Deathmatch, some balance to grenades, and other various changes.
Now that you will be able to...
Finally, deathmatch is coming to PUBG. The 6.2 update will bring the new mode for players to improve themselves and compete in challenges other than the usual battle royale. And, the update will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Even if the mode is pretty popular among other shooters, it has taken quite a while for it to reach PUBG.
The mode will allow 8 players to compete against another group of 8 players that will reach for the highest number of kills, and the game will only be playable in the first-person perspective. You will be able to play the deathmatch in seven different battlefields, at least for now. As for the starter kit, you’ll be able to choose a loadout before the game begins - similar to the way things work in Call of Duty. We know that you’ll have to...
Driving in PUBG is so easy, isn’t it? You can drive with no worries over your opponent before they get to shoot you. Well, there’s been some changes, and now you will have to take more caution where and how you drive. This new spike trap can be placed by other players and it will slow you down. Expect to be ambushed as soon as you you hear your tires pop up.
If you want to have a good time, collect as many as you can and fill the road. Every trap will only affect one car, so you probably need more than one if you're going after a squad. You won’t be able to pick them after placing them on the ground, either, so take care where and how you place them.
PUBG's New Waypoint System
Another new feature is coming to the PUBG servers: a...
Starting next month, crates in PUBG won’t require keys anymore. As you may know, a key costs $2.50 but, starting December 18, you will be able to unlock crates using the in-game currency. This currency can be obtained by playing the game or you can choose to purchase them with real money.
We have been thinking about this carefully and we want to ensure that we steer clear of revenue that fails to satisfy fans, especially if they include a low success rate. We will continue to tweak our business model where possible to offer more compelling value for the money you choose to spend with us.
The new BP crates will have a higher chance for a rare skin in the lower tiers. The quality for the dropped skins is about to get improved, with a high chance to get a mid-tier crate up...

Also in Update 4.3 is a brand new crate weapon,...
That's right folks, after getting used to earning exp by firing all kinds of weapons at our enemies with the Weapon Mastery system, now we must approach a more "hippie' style of gameplay in PUBG's new survival mastery system.
The new Survival Mastery will focus on looting. As you land you know what you have to do - search for a weapon to withstand the first minutes. After you kill the players that landed near you, you must start hunting for gear, better weapons, and compatibles upgrades. After you've completed your gear, you start to kill everything that has a name for that chicken dinner. But that's only what gets you started. With the new survival mastery system, you will have to search even more, as looking for loot will grant you XP.
Using items will also grant you bonus exp, so start practicing if you...

Apex legends got a good start just earlier this year and, while it’s one of the newest games on this list, some people will tell you that it’s the worst. But, those people are probably jaded because it was another battle royale in an overcrowded sea. Be that as it may, Apex Legends is actually considered by most battle royale fans as the best in the business. It’s praised for its awesome map and “ping” communication system. We’re also a big fan of the guns and character movement in general. Sure, you can runa cross walls, but you can slide down hills and it works...
