Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released in 2019 as a full-on remaster of 2007’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The original game was credited with moving the COD series out of the World War II setting, and it effectively set the bar for all other COD games developed by Infinity Ward. Fast forward to 2019, and the game was remastered and released a second time for modern consoles and PC. The storyline takes place in 2011 where the president of an unnamed Middle Eastern country was assassinated as an ultranationalist movement ignites a civil war in Russia. Modern Warfare has mixed in multiplayer modes from the original game along with some maps weapons from Modern Warfare 2, and as of the time of this writing, is updated on a regular basis.
The biggest drop of free content in Call of Duty history. Iconic maps like Crash make their return, as completely new maps are introduced. New weapons are available for your Gunsmith grinding to use across a sweep of new modes and Special Ops experiences.
Season One begins December 3rd on all platforms.
There is not much time left until Modern Warfare Season 1 begins, so what better way to get everyone hyped than to offer double XP. This update is special for many reasons, but some may call it one of the biggest free updates ever. You'll be able to earn double rank XP on everything you do between now and December 2nd, just before Season 1 starts.
This event is a “lifesaver’ for those who want to catch up with the ranks before Modern Warfare Season 1 kicks off. If you've been slacking, then this is your only hope to become “marked”, before December 3. Keep in mind that this event won’t apply for any challenges or missions, as the only concern right now is to help you rank up in time for Modern Warfare Season 1.
“At the start of Season 1, those who...
Activision posted a new announcement on its blog today to announce
that Call of Duty Modern Warfare would skip the whole loot box and season pass
idea, instead taking the battle pass route found in games like Fortnite, among
others.
Gone are the days when you leveled up and earned new weapons
and upgrades through hardwork and dedication. Fortunately, we won’t have to
deal with loot boxes and season passes, with the battle pass offering up “a
variety of cosmetic content that does not impact game balance.” The battle pass
will, evidently, gives us the opportunity to earn COD points – the in-game
currency, through game play.
According to Activision, the battle pass system won’t be
functional when CoD Modern Warfare launches next week, but will go live in future
live seasons, each of which will have its own themed content. Activision claims
the delay is put in place on making the game awesome now...
Even if our PC was once the best there was, technology ages quickly and you have to understand that most new video games require a lot of resources, especially if you want to play with the best graphics, but you don't have to have the latest and greatest, at least not yet. That's why there's always recommended options and a minimum hardware spec required to run the game.
Before you even look into the requirements ofr Call of Duty Modern Warfare, you should free up some some harddrive space. A lot of space, actually, as the game requires 175 GB just for installation, and that doesn't include updates, DLCs, or anything else that might require space down the road. That's right folks, 175 GB of action, entertainment, and epic moments.

The brand new story trailer for Modern Warfare Here presents more about Modern Warfare's gameplay and how hot things will get in some missions. Even if we only get to see 40 seconds, it is enough to start thinking about pre-ordering the game. Starting with the ruins of a building, covered in the dark we see how the night vision goggles will work. We also see one of the guns' upgrades, the laser sight.
Shown in many scenes, using different angles, we see how the reloading was designed, to be as realistic as possible. It's a nice feature to have, rather the one where you only replace the magazine. It's not all about guns, we also get to see how being stealthy will create an advantage, with a fast but accurate movement with a nice-looking knife.
There are lots of ways to travel,...

In the early campaign of the original Modern Warfare 2, we found ourselves playing as Joseph Allen, an undercover agent of the CIA, trying to blend in with a Russian terrorist organization. Trust is not so easy to obtain between the organizations' members, so to keep his cover, agent Joseph has to kill a whole airport full of people - this is the mission you were asked whether or not you wanted to skip at the beginning of the game.
As could have expected, lots of people, even some developers, complained about the "importance" of this scene and that it was absolutely needed to understand Modern Warfare 2's storyline. Some developers came up with the idea that the mission should be played from the eyes of a security guard to maintain relevance.
With the reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on the way, it's quite...
