Following rumors about the GTA Remastered Trilogy in late 2020 on Rockstar’s official GTA forums, the topic has managed to gain a lot of steam. The listing of the GTA Remastered Trilogy on a Korean ratings board back in September 2021 only fueled the rumors and increased discussion even more. That listing didn’t give any information about the trilogy, but it was labeled as “not for youths,” which isn’t surprising by any means.
So far, there has been no official word from Rockstar or 2K to even confirm that the GTA Remastered Trilogy even exists, let alone has an approaching launch date. The appearance on the Korean ratings board does suggest that an announcement is imminent, and now Kotaku is reporting that plans surrounding the remastered GTA games had changed quite a bit.
