Epic Games has finally launched the X-Force skin bundle for Fortnite, as yet the latest entry to the game's tradition of brand tie-ins. Now that Deadpool’s classic red skin and his X-Force outfit are available, it only seems fair that we can get Cable, Psylocke, and Domino too, right? Well, your wait has finally come to an end. You can grab all three X-Froce members from the Fortnite item show right now as part of the X-Force skin buddle. But, as it is in life, nothing comes without a cost.
Fortnite X-Force Skin Bundle Trailer
X-Force Skin: Cable
The biggest of the bunch, Cable, is – arguably – the hightlight of the X-Force skin bundle. He’s portrayed with his classic white hair, combat armor, and belt bundle with more ammo pouches than you can count. He carries a P90 rifle that is, most likely, slotted away when...
It’s not uncommon for Epic Games to introduce some weird skins in Fortnite, but Jellie, as this one is called, is certainly one of the weirdest. The new skin was introduced on Tuesday, Jan 21 in Fortnite’s item shop, and he’ll set you back a cool 1,200 V-Bucks.
Jellie looks like, well, a blob that’s gone on a diet, and it apparently prefers to rock out a sniper rifle as well (you’re not one of those assholes, are you?) If you pay up the 1,200 V-Bucks for Jellie, you’ll also get the Shellie back bling, which is basically a cute-ish tortoise shell type of thing with no use other than to look cool.
For an extra 800 V-Bucks, you can also get your hands on the
Scampi pickaxe which is, for the most part, a pair of weird, slimy looking
worms. Maybe they are baby Jellies? Who...
There’s already a lot of opinions about the newest skin added to Fortnite, this time apty called "Chomp Sr." It’s supposed to look like a shark, well, at least that's what they say. The mask is, well, basically a shark head. To get the skin itself, you'll have to pony up 2,000 V-bucks. If you want to pay another 1,500 V-bucks, you can get "Chomp Jr." which is basically a skin for the pickaxe, but is designed to look like a harpoon through the belly of the shark. The latter is what does the work while the harpoon acts as a handle.
There have been mixed opinons about the latest skin, but for what it's worth, it actually resembles an old fan favorite: Rex. That was a dino-themed skin that came as part of the Dino Guard set and included the feamle version, the...
We have a winner! The Fortnite community choice skin has been chosen and its name is Riley. With great looks, it's really a pretty simple skin, albeit with a decent level of detail. Even if it's not such a complex skin like a Stormtrooper or a banana, the skin fuses some military details with a “renegade” style, and it looks amazing.
She comes with a magenta jacket with an X layout, a headset over her mask, a ball cap, green shirt, and cool-looking gloves. This skin actually looks even better while playing the game instead of looking good only in the lobby. You can buy this skin from the store at the price of 1,200 V-Bucks. Buying this skin will also grant you a “Ghostly” bling, who doesn’t lack the pink color.
The banana skin that was revealed in season 8 has become,
well, let’s just say not appetizing anymore. Now that Chapter 2 has kicked off,
it’s time for Mr. Banana to be replaced, and what a better way to do so than to
become a big wiener. Even better yet, you can be a big wiener in skinny jeans.
The new skin is being called “The Brat” and if you want to
be a big wiener, you’ll have to pony up 1,200 V-Bucks. He comes with a new hat,
a sausage-link necklace, and that annoying, ungodly pair of skinny jeans that
may or may not show off your package. At least this skin is a little more
inventive – it’s a lot better than a banana with legs, right?
