Blizzard promised to deliver quarterly updates to Diablo 4,
and it just delivered its first update right on schedule. As a matter of fact,
this first quarterly update is quite a doozy – so much so that we’re not sure
how Blizzard will be able to follow up next quarter.
Diablo 4 Cannibal Family Lineup
One of the most important updates is a new monster family.
As you already know, monsters are being grouped into these families, and this
one might be one of the most wretched and brutal so far. I’m talking about
cannibals – a family with four distinct members, each of which features its own
design and weapons. Two of these guys are melee fighters and are equipped with
either a two-handed greatsword cleaver or a lightweight halberd. There’s also a
bruiser that dual wields spiked clubs and is capable of stunning players at the
same time as damaging them. Then you have the Swamers – these guys wield dual
axes and attack at just the...
Doom Eternal – March 2020
I can’t stress enough how much the Doom series influenced the evolution of shooters. In Doom eternal, we’ll take the role of the ancient, most powerful and God damn Bad-ass character the world of gaming has ever seen. Like the rest of the Doom series, we’ll have to kill a lot of demons. The game looks even better, it has more guns, more explosives and definitely more blood all over the place. We get to see old models, upgraded to a 2020’ level, with finishing moves which make the Mortal Kombat series look like kid’s play. The environment looks alive, the soundtrack fits perfectly and helps the blood to run faster as you crush al lot of your enemies skulls. Armor and other equipment can be found while playing, and trust me they’re hard to miss. The biggest change is the ability to take control of a demon and go in another player’s campaign. This and...
According to a recent blog post by David Kim, some major changes are coming to Diablo 4, and the are apparently influenced by the Diablo community. It looks like Blizzard actually paid attention to player feedback.
“Adding depth and customization to your character through itemization is incredibly valuable and important to the game. This has been the most-discussed topic since we revealed Diablo 4. To be clear-we believe Diablo 4 itemization should be deep and rewarding and that’s one of our highest priorities.”
Ancient Items Will Be Missing From Diablo IV
Ancient items will be removed in Diablo 4 and, as a replacement, we will have a “Legendary consumable.” This new kind of item will let us add a Legendary affix on items with no Legendary affix. As many said, in Diablo 3 the Legendary items we’re simply an end game run for more power. Items will have more affixes available...
Informer has had the luck of playing through a pre-release version of Diablo
4 and has just posted 20 minutes worth of Druid class gameplay. Despite the fact
4 was just announced at Blizzcon 2019 and has yet to be assigned a release
date, it looks like the gameplay is rather polished.
In the video we’ve embedded
above, there are three Druids playing together alongside wolf companions.
According to Game Informer, the Druid’s shapeshifting ability feels quick and
takes place immediately without any weird transformation animation. Even better
yet, you don’t have to summon your wolf companions as they are always present
once you’ve unlocked the skill. Instead, when you activate the skill it will
focus the wolves on their target instead. It’s a huge improvement and a welcomed
change, that’s for sure. So, go ahead and watch the video, then let us know
what you think in the comments section below!

Diablo 4 Could Be the Best In the Series So Far
First of all, it looks like Diablo 4 will be the best one of its series. Let’s start with what was shown in the trailer abvoe. In Diablo 3 we got to see a celestial battle between angels and demons, but nothing all that scary. Now looking at this trailer, from the first seconds we can feel the lack of hope; the fear crawling down our spines. From the trailer, we already get symbols like 3 men required, only 3 survive. The game also presents to us, at the gate, a symbol of the main demon of Diablo 4, the boss, the biggest and the dangerous creature we can find in the game, Lilith.
Diablo 4 will be Gory
Why is Diablo 4 more special and better than Diablo 3? Well instead of stories, we get to see how...
Diablo 4 seems like it will revive every detail that made the Diablo Series popular. Speaking about loved features, we can’t ignore the customization system. Luis Barriga declared at BlizzCon that a lot of missing features from Diablo 3 will be introduced in Diablo 4. Now, if I am honest, Diablo 4 is the true sequel to Diablo 2, the main thing being the symbols and all the blood which conquers every part of the screen.
Talents, skill ranks, and beloved rune words, this is the customization that won our hearts and made us spend a lot of time in Diablo’s world. This will allow us to play the build we desire, without being forced to go a specific way. I don't blame you if you've forgotten about Rune words since the Lord of Destruction expansion, back in the days where Diablo 2 was fresh out of the box. Just a reminder: if you combine runes you could enchant...
After announcing Diablo Immortal and Blizzcon 2018, many fans lost hope for the Diablo series. BlizzCon 2019, however, revealed that Diablo IV is in fact coming, and it looks just gorgeous. The event was marked by the one of a kind trailer that we've place above, which is honestly way scarier than many horror movies.
As strange as it might sound, the game seems more a sequel to Diablo 2 instead of a followup to Diablo 3, and if you played the game long enough, you know what we mean. Let’s start with Diablo 3’s detailed story and action scenes. The focus is on the “big action” as Tyrael return between his brothers. The story is great, the action is well placed, but that’s not the mark od the Diablo series we fell in love with. Diablo 4 is more of a sequel to Diablo 2 because of the huge quantities of blood you see in only one scene, how it’s spreading across...
