Over the next 8 or 9 months, you’re going to have to put a
little more thought into whether or not you want to buy new games when they
launch. After all, the Xbox Series X and PS5 will be launching for the holidays,
so it doesn’t make a lot of sense to buy a new game, just to purchase it for
the next-gen console a few months later. Well, with Cyberpunk 2077, that won’t
be an issue.
Shortly after the official Xbox Twitter account posted news that the Xbox Series X would support backward compatibility across four generations, CD Porjekt Red took action too. Posting via the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, the developer has confirmed that any Xbox One owner that buys Cyberpunk 2077 will be able to play on the Xbox Series X for free when it is available. Of course, the current-gen verion of Cyberpunk...
CD Projekt’s value has grown to over $8 billion in just a few months (previously, their value was $6.8 billion). If you’re wondering what’s the secret: the Netflix series adaption of The Witcher is responsible for the market explosion. There we’re a high number of sales before the series, no doubt, but Steam recorded $50 million in sales from the Witcher 3, and a lot of that money goes to CD Projekt’s wallet.
The popular Netflix series has increased incomes with 500%. The credit shouldn’t go all to the series as the Nintendo Wwitch port of The Witcher 3 also played a big role here.. Cyberpunk 2077 is a maybe; we don’t know the income that the upcoming game has or will bring to the company, but something tells us that it's going to be a major success.
In case you’re wondering who’s the...
Updated 2/17/2020 1:20 PM: The blurry image shown off by Nvidia is, in fact, that of a GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, known as the Cyberpunk 2077 Edition. This isn’t just something you can run out and buy from your local PC supply store, though. Nvidia is only producing 77 examples, and it’s giving them away, seemingly at random, to those that retweet their post and tag another gamer. If your tweet is selected as a winner, you and the person you tagged will get the limited-run GPU. Here’s the official tweet:
Introducing the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition. We made 77 for our community.Want one? Here's how:1. RT this video.2. Tag a gamer who is as excited as you about Cyberpunk 2077 in the replies with #RTXOn3. If selected, you BOTH win these limited edition GPUs! pic.twitter.com/IG2BZZCZ6H— NVIDIA GeForce (@NVIDIAGeForce) February 17, 2020...
Cyperpunk 2077 will have one hell of main storyline, but it’ll
also be an open-world game, which means there will be a lot more to do then just
grind away at the main campaign. Street Stories – Cyberpunk 2077 for side quests
– will be largely different from the main campaign quests. They will be smaller
and less cinematic, but will be very important in terms of help you be part of
the Night City community.
Producer John Mamais explained a little more about how CD
Projekt Red is approaching the whole open-world design structure in an
interview with OnMSFT.
There’s a couple of layers. There’s a passive layer, which is the vendors, then there’s the STSs, which are the Street Stories. There’s around 75 Street Stories then there’s minor activities as well.
The idea here is to put a focus
on encountering interesting events and random stories out in Night City....
Cyberpunk 2077 has been in the works for the better part of a decade, with its development dating back to at least 2013. We’re in the final stretch now, but as it turns out CD Projekt Red needs a little more time to get the game up to speed and ready to release. That means that the Cyberpunk 2077’s release has been moved from April 16 to September 17.
We are currently at a stage where the game is complete and playable, but there’s still work to be done. Night City is massive — full of stories, content, and places to visit, but due to the sheer scale and complexity of it all, we need more time to finish playtesting, fixing, and polishing. We want Cyberpunk 2077 to be our crowning achievement for this generation, and postponing launch will give us the precious months we...
Sideshow is a company that specializes in limited edition
statues, film prop replicas, and articulated figures, among other things. The
company has now partnered with CD Projekt Red and, as we expected, there’s a
whole lineup of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 collectibles in the works.
Official word comes via Sideshow’s webpage with a listing that says:
“Sideshow is excited to announce that Cyberpunk 2077 license and collectibles will be coming in the future! Stay tuned – RSVP for more updates!”
A separate, but almost identical announcement has been
posted for The Witcher 3 as well.
This is actually great news because Sideshow does some
pretty awesome work. Over the past few years, the company has created replicas
and figurines for Star Wars, Marvel, and Assassin’s Creed. And, while the
craftmanship is out of this world, so is the price. As an example, a 1:4 scale
figuring of Animus Ezio from Assassin’s Creed...
Doom Eternal – March 2020
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2HOClc6Svg4
I can’t stress enough how much the Doom series influenced the evolution of shooters. In Doom eternal, we’ll take the role of the ancient, most powerful and God damn Bad-ass character the world of gaming has ever seen. Like the rest of the Doom series, we’ll have to kill a lot of demons. The game looks even better, it has more guns, more explosives and definitely more blood all over the place. We get to see old models, upgraded to a 2020’ level, with finishing moves which make the Mortal Kombat series look like kid’s play. The environment looks alive, the soundtrack fits perfectly and helps the blood to run faster as you crush al lot of your enemies skulls. Armor and other equipment can be found while playing, and trust me they’re hard to miss. The biggest change...
Photo mode is a thing, and it's for sure coming to Cyberpunk. It is no big surprise as one of the most awaited games of 2020 will give the players the opportunity to share moments, bugs, or mayhem with each other.
https://twitter.com/CyberpunkGame/status/1181210607493767168
We can see in a post made by Cyberpunk 2077 official Twitter account shown above that presents a four-second video showing that we can capture any landscape we want. What the purpose of this photo mode is remains to be seen, but it's been in the works since at least 2017 when it was confired that developers were planning on it.
We're guessing that photo mode will be a minor section of the game considering the fact that consoles and PC all have screen capture modes that are easy enough to use, but it's also quite possible that it will play a bigger...
Back in 2014, the idea of multiplayer in Cyberpunk 2077 was denied in any way, but a recent tweet from CD PROJEKT RED confirmed that a multiplayer mode is a "work in progress."
https://twitter.com/CDPROJEKTRED/status/1169158028010119170
Even if we have no idea how what kind of multiplayer we will have, be it an open world like we have in GTA or a battle royale style like that of fortnite, let's hope that this will make up for the "first-person only" decision.

This change comes to offer its player a better story-line and away better gameplay. Now you may think " Why do I have to customize my character if I will never see it" apparently you will be able to see your customized "V" in the inventory screen, during driving sequences, in mirrors, and "very occasionally in some cut-scenes".
But from the gameplay we got to see, "V" can be seen also in security cameras and cyber optics. One user messaged the Official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account to clarify the "tpp view" in cutscenes or other situations. the response was pretty clear "In Cyberpunk 2077, immersion is very important for us, so yes, cutscenes are fpp :)"
As curiosity occurred, our user also asked about sex scenes, and the answer was surprising "same".
We can only wonder how these scenes will take place, and how...
