Cyberpunk 2077’s Cutscenes Will Change the Way We Play Games Forever

Following a delay until September (and then November) and climbing out of the shadow that cast by The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot to live up to. And, while it hasn’t been released yet, it’s already looking like it’s going to exceed expectations. We know that side quests will help encourage exploration and that Ray Tracing on PC will make for an outright gorgeous game. After seeing a run down of the weapons in Cyberpunk 2077, we’re certainly not as pressed about the first person perspective or the fact that multiplayer isn’t coming until at least a year after launch.   The latest news, however, should get you more hyped than ever because you’ll have, at the very least, some control over the game’s dialogue – even during cutscenes. News about cutscenes comes straight from Official PlayStation Magazine, which claims that Cyberpunk 2077’s cutscenes...

Cyberpunk 2077 Weapons – A Complete Guide

We’ve heard so much about Cyberpunk 2077 from its massive open world, to its RPG mechanics, and we’ve even seen its footage upscaled to 8K to show what it might look like someday in the future. And, while some people aren’t too happy about the game’s first-person perspective, CD Projekt Red has decided to roll with it anyway. That might be a bummer to some, but more recently we finally got a look at some of the guns available in the game and, I have to admit, it kind of makes the game feel more like a first person shooter than ever before. Of course, there’s a lot more to it than running around and shooting people, but with the guns that we’ve seen so far, that’s going to be a very fun part of the game. With that said, we’ve decided to start...

Cyberpunk 2077 Dev is Proud of Leaked 18+ Ratings Leak

The content leak for The Last of Us 2 was, at least to some extent, pretty disappointing for its developers, but the exact opposite is true of a leaked content rating for Cyberpunk 2077. The leak occurred only briefly from the Brazilian Ministry of Justice and labels Cyberpunk 2077 as an 18+ game. Highlights of the listing include some very telling concepts that we can expect: “Exposure to death corpse”“Body injury”“Description of illicit drug consumption of trafficking”“Nudity”“Sexual relationship”“Intense sexual relation”“Cruelty”“Mutilation” Oddly enough, the only thing in the listing lists as 18+ is the cruelty aspect which could be just about anything, but we’re guessing it relates to some kind of low-level torture perhaps. If you want to see the full list, you can see it over on Reddit, but the point is that Pawel Sasko, a developer at CD Projekt Red, posted a brief screenshot and...

This Upscaled 8K Footage From Cyberpunk 2077 Previews Xbox Series X Graphics Quality

https://youtu.be/rfLl49HAJwM The Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay footage released last year at Gamescom was impressive, but it wasn’t anywhere near as impressive as it is now that it has been upscaled to 8K. The best part is that you can even see the different on an “old-fashioned” 1080p monitor, and quite easily too. The footage comes courtest of Ani HVX on YouTube and Preston Dortsch on Twitter. To create the upscaled video quality a tech similar to to the way you can upscale footage to 4k with Nvidia’s DLSS technology. Even better yet, it looks like we’ll be seeing even more of this footage in 8K as it’s released, as Dortsch admitted on Reddit: "I'll be properly upscaling whatever future video content CDPR releases over the game so keep your eyes peeled for that” Now, to explain the trickery a bit. I know it doesn’t seem logical that you can...

The Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Bundle And All Optional Accessories Will Cost Nearly $800

https://youtu.be/nDhVZlOJJvo After two leaks that showed the Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition controller and the limited-edition console, Microsoft has finally made it official. The Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition console will, in fact, be the final limited-edition model of the Xbox One generation. As part of the official announcement, Microsoft went into detail of the new bundle and confirmed that only 45,000 examples of the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X bundle will be available and only in select markets. As you can see from the short video above, the console and controller are largely inspired by the game with distinct panels, some of which glow in the dark, and extra LEDs. There are even custom panels that you don’t see on the standard Xbox Series X. The bundle is scheduled to arrive in June with the limited-edition controller and a digital download for Cyberpunk 2077. Don’t get too...

Updated: A New Listing Has Leaked the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X Bundle!

UPDATE 4/17/2020: Another Amazon listing posted a little too seen has leaked the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X bundle, something that we predicted just 2 hours ago when the special-edition controller was leaked. We have to admit that the console bundle does look amazing, despite the fact that it should launch in September, just a month or two before the Xbox Series X is set to launch.  We definitely saw this coming as Xbox started teasing the bundle early this week, but considering this isn’t completely official quite yet, you can expect to hear more about it in the coming days and months. Original Story: A listing for a Cyberpunk 2077-themed Xbox One controller recently landed on Amazon Canada, and despite the fact that the game doesn’t launch until September 17, 2020, the special-edition controller has a May 4, 2020 release date. To be clear, this controller...

Cyberpunk 2077 Won’t Exactly Be 100-Percent At Launch

January 2020 broke us off with the horrible news that Cyberpunk 2077 had been delayed until September and that Multiplayer would be at least a year out after that. Then COVID-19 happened and games like Wasteland 3, Dying Light 2, and The Last of Us 2 quickly got filed into the delayed folder. It seemed that, as unfortunate as things were, that Cyberpunk 2077 would, in fact, be delayed again, but that’s actually not the case at all as CD Projekt Red’s team has managed to pull things together despite a lot of working from home. That does, however, mean that some concessions have to be made, and one of those is that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t exactly be 100-percent complete at launch. That doesn’t mean that the game isn’t playable, though, and chances are, you won’t even notice that there’s something missing from the game...

Cyberpunk 2077 Will See Plenty of DLC After Launch

CD Projekt Red recently hosted a Q&A session with investors in which it discussed future business plans and what it’s plans were for Cyberpunk 2077. Despite its most recent delay that holds the game back until September, CDPR is still looking to the future and planning a bunch of DLC, including at least two major paid expansions. In short, it will update Cyberpunk 2077 in the same way that it has graciously treated The Witcher 3. Word comes directly from CD Projekt Red President, Adam Kicinski, but it had to be translated from polish (thanks to VGC for that translation.) In the investors call, Kicinski said that Cyberpunk 2077 will have “no less DLC than The Witcher 3 had” and that we should “anticipate a similar scenario to the Witcher 3” in regard to when DLC will be released. That means there should be a...

CD Projekt Red Will Upgrade Cyberpunk 2077 for the Xbox Series X

Back when it was announced that Cyberpunk 2077 would be playable on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X, we weren’t sure if that was thanks to backward compatibility or because CDPR was planning to build a next-gen specific version of the game. A new report from Video Games Chronicle has clarified this, and there will be a next-gen version of the game, but it won’t be a Series X launch game. To clarify what this means, you’ll be able to play Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when they launch via backward compatibility. Sometime down the road, a “full-blown next-gen version” of the game will be launched that will, as of now, be designed specifically for the Xbox Series X. CDPR has yet to confirm an port for the PlayStation 5, though. The good news for Xbox owners, however is...

Buy Halo Infinite on Xbox One, get it free on Xbox Series X

First, let’s talk about Microsofts Smart Delivery’s big names: Cyberpunk 2077, Geras 5, and Halo Infinite. This program will allow players to buy the games on Xbox One and receive them for free on Xbox Series X after they upgrade. The news was confirmed by Samuel Bateman. Microsft's Marketing Lead confirmed via a twitter post. another post, this time by Phil Spencer, the Xbox boss explaining the process of Smart Delivery. Cyberpunk 2077 was the first to announce this capability. It looks like Microsoft it’s doing it’s best to keep the console family connected. This will also come as a bonus for players that will be able to buy the game once and enjoy it on different consoles. I don’t know about you, but the idea of having a single account with multiple games and being able to use it on various devices sounds...
