Not a lot is known about the next installation of the Assassin’s Creed series, but it’s rumored to be called Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok. Rumors and leaks have indicated that it may have a European and Norse setting that will take place between the first Assassin’s Creed (you remember Altair, right?) and Assassin’s Creed: Origins.
Word even has it that the game’s map will include
Scandinavia and the U.K. while the overall plot and focus of the game will be
on the aforementioned Norse religions and rise of Christianity. It certainly
sounds interesting, but the one thing we haven’t heard about is the mechanics
of the game. Will Assassin’s Creed Ragnarok feature RPG-style gameplay?
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was Ubisoft’s first foray and
experiment into RPG territory with the Assassin’s Creed series and it turned
out to be a big hit. In fact, it’s even been crowned as one of the best in the series,
but die-hard fans seem to not like the style of gameplay and would instead
prefer for the next game...
