Back in March of 2020, we told you that Super Mario 64 and several other classic Mario games from past generations could land on the Nintendo Switch? Well, as it turns out, we were right. To celebrate 35 years of Mario Bros., Nintendo is launching Super Mario 3D All-Stars for the Nintendo switch and a lot more between now and March 2021.
What Games Are Included in Super Mario 3D All-Stars?
Super Mario 3D All-Stars includes Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy – all three of which are considered the best of the franchise.
When Does Super Mario 3D All-Stars Launch?
Nintendo is set to launch Super Mario 3D All-Stars on September 18, 2020, but the company claims it’ll only be around for a limited time, with sales of both physical and digital versions of the game pack ending in March 2021. You can also pre-order the game pack on your Switch via the Nintendo store or by visiting Nintendo’s webpage.
What You Need to Know About Super Mario 3D All-Stars
Nintendo hasn’t said a whole lot about what it’s done for the release of these three classic games. It has said that we can expect higher resolutions, joy-con compatibility, and we will even be able to listen to in-game sound tracks via the Nintendo Music Player. Along with this game pack, Nintendo is also releasing Super Mario 3D World + Browsers Fury, MarioKart Live, Super Mario Bros. 35, Super Mario All-Stars (Nintendo Online), and will hold a number of Mario-themed events between now and March 2021.
