Not even a week after Rune 2 was released on the Epic Games Store, the team behind the game, Human Head Studios, is closing its doors. The team will remain together and even better yet, Rune 2 will continue to be supported.

The fact that Human Head Studios has closed was as surprising for the studio as it was the public. Nobody knew that the second day after one of their biggest releases they will shut down. Now we can only hope that the coming team will keep the Rune 2 spirit alive. The good news is that the team is remaining together and will be working as a subsidiary studio of Bethesda. So, at the very least, they will have the financial support to continue pushing Rune 2 as expected.
