It really shouldn’t be much of a surprise that there were issues with Red Dead Redemption when it was released on PC. Anytime a game is ported from console to PC, there will always will be errors, bugs, and other problems. Of course, we didn’t expect the bugs in RDR2 to be so bad, and some are still going on, but good news is coming down the line.
New updates have been slowly trickling down. And, even if Rockstar Games did their best, you can’t possibly cover up all existing bugs right way. Thanks to the community and the rewards for reported bugs, now most of them are solved. Rockstar Games said :
“ We are aware that a small number of Red Dead Redemption 2 PC players are still experiencing some ongoing problems with the game shuttering. We believe this is due to unforeseen issues related to specific combinations of Nvidia graphics drivers, Nvidia GPU cards and certain CPUs,”.
Furthermore, they mentioned an upcoming update that promises to fix the stuttering issue and some of the other errors. To “calm” the spirits, Rockstar Games apologizes with a week of bonuses and the future holiday season will receive bonus bundles. Some of these bundles will include ammo, provisions, and Prieto Poncho.
