Predator: Hunting Grounds is Free to Try This Weekend

Ever wanted to be a super hunter and live in a world where the entire civilization and story is based on hunting? Have you ever wished to become invisible and kill your way in? Throw a sharp spear or a deadly disk? Well, now you can live out that dream, at least temporarily, as Predator: Hunting Grounds is free to try this weekend, so hurry up, head on over to the Epic Games Store or PlayStation Store (PS Plus subscribers only) and enjoy it while you can.

The game puts us in the role of the Predator. In case you missed the entire franchise, we’re talking about the movies with the aliens, with the little things from the eggs that get in your abdomen and kills you – that movie. In that movie, the Predator is the badass that kills them.

You will be able to play as a human, alongside other players, or you can play as the Predator. Being already OP, there will be only one predator. Don’t get fooled by numbers. One predator will have a kit full of features from the movies: disks, spears, a tough armor, the helmet, which comes with the thermal vision and other features, clock device, and everyone’s favorite: The wrist blade. As a human, you will get to play from a first-person view, good luck trying to survive a proper predator.

The Predator will be played from a third-person view, making it so much fun to hunt down your pray. You can customize your Predator in any way you like. There are plenty of armor sets to choose from, with different details, more weapons to be unlocked as you progress throughout the game.

The game supports crossplay between PC and PS4, even during this pre-launch trial. You can get the game and try the trial from now until March 29, 2020. It will officially launch on both PC and PS4 on April 24, 2020.

Here’s when Predator: Hunting Grounds will be available to play:

  • Japan / Asia 15:00 JST
  • Europe / Australia / New Zealand – 17:00 CET
  • North America – 17:00 PST
