Phil Spencer Says Details About Xbox Series X Games Are Coming Soon

We’re not sure of exactly when we’ll here about launch games be it’s not going to be “too much of a wait.”

Microsoft and Xbox have been very transparent about the Xbox Series X. We know what the console looks like and we know what’s hiding behind that tall case. It’s a lot more than we’ve seen from Sony and the PlayStation 5, but so far, we’ve yet to see anything official in terms of what games we can expect for the new console.

After all, with this generation, it’s going to be more about the games than the system. The Xbox Series X is definitely more powerful than the PS5, but the PS5 is said to have a better SSD, so things kind of balance out between the two. Now, we’ve discovered a Twitter reply from none other than Phil Spencer that implies Series X games will be revealed in the near future.

We suspect that the original plan was to unveil a handful of launch games a some fresh info at E3 2020 in June, but that’s been canceled. More recently, Microsoft said it will be going to all-digital events for the forseeable future, and you can bet there’s going to be another digital event to showcase the Series X’s launch games in late May or early June, right about the time we were going to see them anyway. We know we’ll probably get a look at Halo Infinite and there’s a good chance that we could hear about Fable 4 as well, but there’s probably so much more.
