Naughty Dog and Sony Are Working To Get The Last of Us 2 Out Sooner Than Later

There’s also a cool fun trailer that you should probably check out as well

The Last of Us Part II was supposed to launch on PS4 in February and, at the time, the world was still whole. Then we made it to April 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has taken its toll, and The Last of Us 2 had to be delayed indefinitely. The first half of April was a busy time in terms of news for this game and on April 6 Neil Druckmann, Naughty Dog VP, explained more of what was going on behind the scenes and even alluded to the fact that the game is pretty much complete.

That’s well and good, but a day later, The Last of Us 2 was removed from the PlayStation store and refunds were promptly issued for any pre-orders that were already placed.  For the last week, the news mill has been quiet, but now Druckmann has revealed that effort is still being made to get the game out as soon as possible. Check out what he said in his recent tweet, and check out the cool fan trailer that everybody (everyone in our office included) just loves.

Unfortunately, that’s all we have to share about The Last of Us 2 for now, but something tells me that we’re not going to have to wait for too long before it lands. With isolation still a big part of people’s lives, a game like the Last of Us 2 would go a long way in making it all a little easier to deal with.
