If you’re a Call of Duty veteran, the only thing coming here is nostalgia. Modern Warfare Season 2 has barely kicked off and data miners have already discovered hints that two classic maps are coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Discovered by Redditor evilonyx, files for both Broadcast and Killhouse have been found inside the code for Season 2. Of course, this could just be files forgotten about during the port, but seeing how COD likes to bring up memories, there’s a high chance that the maps are coming to the game at some point in the future..
New Maps Coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
- Killhouse: This is a small map (same as Shipment) that we meet in COD Mobile and COD Online. The map is a center of violence that forces players to rely on their fast reactions and aim, and you’ll experience close calls after every corner – It’s a pretty difficult map for new players, but it is a lot of fun, and it would be awesome if it makes its way to Modern Warfare.
- Broadcast: As you can see, the map is bigger than Killhouse, which gives us (in some places) a break from the close combat. Some locations make sniping almost impossible, but it’s perfectly balanced, allowing you to try out whatever weapon loadout you like. The map is a huge classic, and most will remember the good times on this map, or their worst nightmares, depending on how much do you loved the map.
We don’t know when or even if these two maps are coming to the game. At the moment, we’re still waiting for the battle royale mode “Warzone” and the promised “multiplayers experience” for more maps.
