Now that Microsoft has released official specs for the Xbox Series X and how the unique expandable storage system works, Sony has finally decided to reveal the PS5. Unfortunately, there won’t be some huge event as once expected, but it will be showcased tomorrow, March 18 at 9AM PT/ 12 PM ET/ 4PM GMT on the PlayStation Blog. The next-gen console will be shown off by PS5 architect Mark Cerny, who will provde a “deep dive in PS5’s system architecture and how it will shape the future of games.”

For now, we have no idea what we’ll actually learn tomorrow, but we know for sure that we’ll learn what it looks like, and we may even learn about the PS5’s specs, Price, backward compatibility, and maybe even word about upcoming PS5-exclusive games. On that note, Microsoft isn’t letting the Coronavirus stop it from launching the Xbox Series X in time for the 2020 holiday season, so we largely expect that the PS5 will launch on time later this year, probably a week or two before Black Friday.
