Ghost Of Tsushima Gets Double Boosted For the PS5

60 FPS and Easy Save Transfer – What More Could You Ask For?

Following confirmation from Sony that all but 11 PS4 games will be playable on the PS5, Ghost of Tsushima developer, Sucker Punch, has confirmed that the game will get quite the boost on the PS5, including 60 FPS performance, and you’ll have the ability to easily transfer your progress to the PS5 and pick up exactly where you left off.

Running Ghost of Tsushima at 60 FPS comes courtesy of the PS5’s Game Boost feature that will make PS4 games look just a bit better. But, that’s not all, as the Game Boost feature will also enable faster loading, something confirmed in a subsequent tweet:

“PS5 owners playing with Game Boost will see an extra option to allow frame rates up to 60FPS, and while loading speeds on the PS4 are already great, just wait until you see them on the PS5!”

It might not be a next-gen game, but you can bet the game will look a little better running on the PS5. As for whether or not Sucker Punch plans to release a dedicated next-gen version of Ghost of Tsushima remains to be seen, but let’s be honest, it would be a good idea.
