If you haven’t paid attention to Elder Scrolls Online or the Greymoor expansion, then today is your lucky day as Zenimax Online Studios has annoucned that Elderscrolls Online and the prologue chapter for the Greymoor expansion will be free to play. The base game is free to play on all platforms until April 16, but those playing from Steam will only have free access until April 6th. All other platforms will have access for the full term.
So, what if you’ve already purchased the base game? Well, you kind of get the shaft, but you’ll still be able to play the prologue chapter for free. If you’re unaware, Greymoor is a well-awaited expansion, which will continue the story of the Dark Heart of Skyrim – a story that will run for an entire year. You will follow quests in which you will encounter familiar NPCs, like Lyris Titanborn. The main plot of the whole chapter is to find out who’s threatening the life of Skald-King Jorunn.
