We know you’ve been staring that the black hole that represents whatwas once the existence of the Fortnite world, but you may not have to stare much longer. If you’re wondering when it will launch, we’re guessing it’ll happen on October 17, the Thursday after “The End” – the usual time table in which a new season starts after one ends. However, it looks like it could come even sooner as reports are coming in that Fortnite Chapter 2 is already preloading in China.
Some were saying that Chapter 2 (or season 11,as it may be called) would launch on October 15th in China. There was no specific time mention, but that obviously hasn’t happened, so your best bet is still October 17, just a few days from now. So far, we’ve seen various screen shots of the Chinese-sourced screen shots and there are apparently download instructions floating around as well. For now, all we know is that the update should be around 13GB.
Since the screen shot you see above was released, the message has apparently changed. And now follows the other official Fortnite channels in telling us to “stay tuned for the arrival of the next chapter.” So far, Epic is remaining tight lipped and the black hole remains. Don’t forget to learn more about what happened during “The End.”
