Final Fantasy 7 Gameplay Leak Confirms a PS4 Demo is On the Way

A demo just might hold us over until March when FF7 Remastered actually launches

It wasn’t long ago that we discussed everything we know about Final Fantasy 7 Remastered, and here we are today looking at more than a half hour of Demo gameplay that was supposedly captured on the PS4. Sony has yet to confirm that a demo is actually coming, but the leaked footage looks legit and it does feature PlayStation insignia’s at the end, so it certainly looks like it’s the real deal.

Word has it that the demo will be available sometime soon, and with the first chapter of the game launching on March 3, 2020, it’s about time for it to hit digital stores. As a fair warning, the videos posted below do contain some pretty big spoilers, so if you haven’t played the original or don’t want to ruin the new bits in the remastered version, you might want to wait for the game to launch.

With that said, everything you see here is, reportedly, the entire opening act and it’s likely what we’ll get to play in the demo when it launches in the near future. As a reminder, when FF7 Remastered launches, we’ll be limited to Midgar with the rest of the game coming at a later date.
