As we move closer and closer to the launch of the Sony PlayStation 5, more and more leaks – both accurate and fake – are going to surface. Today we can report that a leaker, one with a decent track record, claims that Sony will hold the PS5 reveal even in February and will start taking pre-orders in March.
This actually makes sense considering the fact that Sony has started to quietly launch dedicated PlayStation 5 webpages, not to mention the fact that February has been the big expectation. Add in the fact that the leaker, who goes by PSErebus on Twitter, accurately predicted the original release date for The Last of Us 2 before it was delayed.

If you wanna stack it up man you gotta work for it. Pre orders for PlayStation 5 begin in March

The same leaker claims that the PS5 will officially launch on November 20, 2020 – just in time for Black Friday sales, and will have an opening price of $499. As for which model that will be – or if there will even be a higher-speced Pro model – remains to be seen. Sony has yet to reveal pricing but these leaks haven’t been disproven, either, so there’s that.
For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what happens, but with the new PS5 sites live, it makes sense that the reveal and pre-orders will be kicking off soon. Stay tuned for updates.
