Euro Truck Simulator 2 Road to the Black Sea Will Take you to Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria

It might be a niche game and only possible on the PC, but Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a genuine hit if we’ve ever seen one. Even years after its release, thousands of gamers from all across the world still play it. According to SteamDB, there’s supposedly some 19,000 gamers still getting down on some Euro Truck Simulator. With that mind, game maker, SCS Software, has no option but to continue expanding the game. And, that’s what we’re here for today – to take a look at the newest trailer for ETS2 – Road to the Black Sea.

In the latest addition to ETS2, you will haul your cargo through the Transylvanian forests and through the Carpathian Mountains of Romania. You’ll even get to visit the Black Sea coastline of Bulgaria, the gateway to Istanbul, and the Trakya region of Turkey.  “From large cities to small humble villages in the countrysides, truckers will also be able to drive on roads which lead to scenic coastlines alongside the Black Sea,” SCS said. “These regions also offer a large variety of industries for players to deliver to and from; including farms, logging companies, and the mining industry.”

It might seem strange that a game studio would stay so committed to a niche game that’s actually pretty old but when you have nearly 20,000 die-hard gamers that are living out their dreams of being a trucker – and getting to experience places they may have never seen otherwise, it’s more than worth it to keep adding content. Road to the Black Sea is listed on steam, but there’s no word of a release date yet. Now that there’s a trailer in play, it’s pretty clear that we’ll probably see it by the end of 2019 or sometime in early 2020 at the latest.
