Fresh on the heels of Modern Warfare Season 3’s launch, a new leak that occurred on the official Warzone page of all places, gave us evidence that Call of Duty Warzone could soon feature a Duos game mode to complement Quads mode.
The update that brought word of a new duos mode was quickly removed from the official website, but as is always the case, what goes on the internet is always on the internet. The tweet that we’ve embedded below shows the official image and, considering the source, there’s no doubt that Duos mode is definitely in the works and likely coming in the very near future.

The move really isn’t surprising as Warzone players have been begging Infinity Ward to add two-man squads to the game since it launched. Plus, Duos is now a permanent fixture in Apex Legends, as it was such a success during the last limited run during valentine’s day, as it only makes sense that Activision and Infinity Ward would jump on it as soon as possible. You have to keep up with the Jones’, right? As for when the mode is going to launch remains a mystery, but if the image was already accidently posted on the official website, something tells us the mode’s promotion is about to kick off anytime.
