Dataminers Have Uncovered A New Warzone Map Set in Urzikstan

Speculation about the new map says that it could arrive as part of the Season 4 update

According to a recent datamine, there’s word circling that the next Call of Duty: Warzone map could be set in Urzikstan, and it could even arrive as soon as Season 4. The leak comes by the way of a video posted by Reddit moderator DougDagnabbit, that is claimed to have been found from Warzone files attached to Season 4 assets.

As you can see from the video above, the video is very short, and is a top-down view of the map of Spec Ops activity in the fictional Russian regions of the game. The video opens with a close-up of Verdansk, which you know as the current Warzone map, and pans out to reveal the Urzikstan region to the northwest. We assume that this is the opening sequence for the introduction of the new map, but your guess is really as good as ours at this point.

Oddly enough, this video is similar to the cinematic that was shown last year in an early Specs Ops cutscene. You can see all of the cutscenes in the compilation below, the cinematic in question visible at 4:24.

As you’ve probably noticed the sequence of that scene is different than the one posted on Reddit. The introduction of Urzikstan does make sense, though, as it lines up with the creation of Verdansk, but it is unconfirmed as of the time of this writing. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens, but Season 4 isn’t that far off, so we’ll learn what’s in store soon enough.
