CD Projekt Is Now The Second-Biggest Game Company in Europe

CD Projekt’s value has grown to over $8 billion in just a few months (previously, their value was $6.8 billion). If you’re wondering what’s the secret: the Netflix series adaption of The Witcher is responsible for the market explosion. There we’re a high number of sales before the series, no doubt, but Steam recorded $50 million in sales from the Witcher 3, and a lot of that money goes to CD Projekt’s wallet.

The popular Netflix series has increased incomes with 500%. The credit shouldn’t go all to the series as the Nintendo Wwitch port of The Witcher 3 also played a big role here.. Cyberpunk 2077 is a maybe; we don’t know the income that the upcoming game has or will bring to the company, but something tells us that it’s going to be a major success.

In case you’re wondering who’s the number one on the ladder: is Ubisoft Entertainment’s French Division with a value of $9.6 billion.
