The PS5 Future of Gaming event – the very one that gave us our first look at the PlayStation 5 console – included a deep look into a number of upcoming games. If Godfall’s new gameplay trailer didn’t interest you, then perhaps you’ll like what you see in the new Oddworld Soulstorm trailer. It’s far from our first look at gameplay, but there is a lot of action, mayhem, and a lot of cute aliens being laid to waste.
Along with the action you can check out in the trailer below, the trailer also confirms that Soulstorm is, in fact, coming to both PlayStation 4 and PS5 exclusively, at least for a limited time before it’s released on console. That said, we still don’t have a release date for the PlayStation version of the game, so if you’re a PC player, don’t start holding your breath quite yet.
Oddworld Soulstorm PlayStation Reveal Trailer
The trailer itself...
Shortly after the turn of the decade, we got out first look at Godfall gameplay, but we learned just a day afterward that it not only was it old PC footage but it was also more than one year old. Now, along with the reveal of the PlayStation 5, we’ve gotten our first look at official PS5 gameplay, and holy crap is it amazing
As one of the first games announced for the PlayStation 5, we were expecting to see some real footage when the PS5 finally debuted, and sure enough, that’s exactly what happened. In the trailer (shown below), we got our first glimpse of the world Aperion on the precipice of ruin, and the music is on the same level of that as Doom Eternal – a very nice surprise, if I do say so myself. On top of that, we see a number of melee weapons and some pretty crazy abilites, both of which are used to hack your enemies to bits. And, let’s not forget...

Grand Theft Auto V is no stranger to the modding community. In fact, there are more mods out there that you can count on your hands and toes, but there are only a few of them that really stand out. One of those is the Natural Vision mod, and it really made GTA V look amazing. Now, Razed, the developers behind that mod have released a trailer for Natural Vision Evolved, and it takes the game about as close to Photorealism as you could really expect.
The trailer that you see above is one of the best mod trailers we’ve seen for GTA V, and it confirms just how much of an overhaul Evolve represents over the original Natural Vision mod. Razed isn’t the only person behind the mod, though, as other modders did lend some assistance here and there. Be that as it may, Evolved is a huge leap forward for GTA V graphics mods.
Once you install the mod, you’ll notice that the game...
If you looking to watch the Xbox Series X Gameplay Event today, then we’ve got good news for you – you can watch it right here via the stream above. It kicks off at 8am PDT 11am EDT 4pm BST.
According to the various teasers we’ve seen so far, the show should showcase “next-gen gameplay, trailers, and sneak peeks from a wide variety of publishing partners and independent developers across the globe and industry.” So far, the only game we know that we’ll see for sure is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is scheduled to launch pretty much alongside the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 this holiday season.
Microsoft claims that it will confirm multiple games that will be available via its Smart Delivery System – a system that allows you to upgrade to the next-gen version for free when it’s available – so there will likely be a ton of cross-gen titles available. The titles that we’ll see today will be Xbox Series...
I’ve played Call of Duty Warzone quite a bit, and I’ve played in various Modern Warfare multiplayer playlists too, but I never checked out cabin fever. A handful of different game modes on tiny maps with close-quarters combat sounded like a lot of fun. And it was, at least until I got thrown into my first bout of Hardpoint on shipment.
Don’t get me wrong, I ended up having fun, but I surely was not ready for what was about to happen when the match went live. Getting killed as you spawn can be one of the most frustrating things in the world, and I was about the rage quit (guilty) until I decided to change up my loadout to the standard, unedited shotgun loadout. From there, I was able to do some decent handywork, and even had a couple of good multikills in the process but that 10-minute match sure did feel look it took at least three times as long. Anyway, check out the recorded gameplay in...
