Silent Hill – Making a HUGE Comeback in 2022?

According to a new report from VGC, Konami is overhauling its approach to AAA game development, and part of that plan includes recruiting external studios to develop multiple new Silent Hill games. News that multiple Silent Hill games are currently in development at various external studios comes as quite a surprise. Konami has typically refrained from collaborating with external studios on projects in the past, and Konami was quick to deny rumors that a Silent Hill reboot was happening following rumors that new Silent Hill games were finally coming way back in early 2020. All of the hype and desire for a new Silent Hill game, however, could have convinced Konami to do what it takes to relaunch the famed horror series. There have been more rumors about Silent Hill’s reboot than we can count, including the possibility for it returning at the launch of the PS5 and that it could have launched back in August of 2020. A Japanese horror artist hinted at a reboot back in April of 2020, and while we don’t know...

GTA Remastered Trilogy Could Launch in November

Following rumors about the GTA Remastered Trilogy in late 2020 on Rockstar’s official GTA forums,  the topic has managed to gain a lot of steam. The listing of the GTA Remastered Trilogy on a Korean ratings board back in September 2021 only fueled the rumors and increased discussion even more.   That listing didn’t give any information about the trilogy, but it was labeled as “not for youths,” which isn’t surprising by any means. So far, there has been no official word from Rockstar or 2K to even confirm that the GTA Remastered Trilogy even exists, let alone has an approaching launch date. The appearance on the Korean ratings board does suggest that an announcement is imminent, and now Kotaku is reporting that plans surrounding the remastered GTA games had changed quite a bit. The latest word is that Rockstar is planning to release GTA Remastered Trilogy in November of 2021. We’ve reached out to Rockstar for comment but have yet to hear back. We’ll be sure to update this article with any response.

Bayonetta 3 Will Finally Be Launched in 2022

Nintendo and PlatinumGames have finally announced  a solid release window for Bayonetta 3, marking 2022 as the year of arrival. This news comes four years after the game was officially announced back in 2017, but the game has remained in development, and is now under the direction of Yusuke Miyata – a long-time co-worker of Bayonetta 3’s Executive Director Hideki Kamiya. He will, however, still be in charge of the world and story, so expect a lot of new mixed in with classic Bayonetta. Outside of this, the studio has also launched a new gameplay trailer to give us a look into what we can expect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUAtX8Ox7eI Here’s a quick breakdown of the game: Bayonetta, the enchanting witch who’s dressed to kill with her hand-and-foot guns, dominates angel and demon alike with action that is, to put it simply, beautiful. Mysterious life forms appearing to be neither angel nor demon attack amid the ravaged streets of the Shibuya area of Tokyo, where Bayonetta then makes a graceful appearance. Why is she in Tokyo? And how far-reaching is the invasion...

Leak Hints At Fable Reboot, Halo 5 on PC, and Gears 6

A recent leak from Geforce Now’s database has pointed a some new first- and third-party games that could join Microsoft’s PC library. The most important of those games include Gears of War 6, the new Fable, and Halo 5: Guardians – the only released Halo not included in The Master Chief Collection. Other games include: Chrono Cross RemasterGod of WarResident Evil Remake With a new report from Windows Central, we can see how some of these leaks corroborate with reporter Jez Corden’s earlier reports. It should be noted, however, that the list of games in this report could be outdated or simply cancelled projects. Some of Microsoft’s listings include games that are still using codenames, but it’s those games that hel[ lend some credibility to the entire report. https://twitter.com/thexpaw/status/1437362950885490692 Placeholder list: Oxide UnannouncedProject WoodstockProject HollandProject Typhoon Project Holland became Fables reboot while Project Typhoon is said to be the latest game from Avalance Studios, called Contraband. Gas Station Simulator – The Best-Selling Game on Steam?

Gas Station Simulator puts you at the head of a run-down gas station on Route 66 with the simple goal of making it successful or, perhaps, the best gas station there ever was. Your new station is located in the middle of nowhere and needs a lot of love. You have to paint, renovate, and even furnish. On top of these, to breathe new life into this old joint, you’ll have to tend customers, stock snacks, maintain inventory, and hire new workers, all while staying within a budget. This isn’t a short-term game, either. It was designed specifically by developer Drago Entertainment to keep you busy for a long period of time. You’ll see your efforts improve something over time, while the mechanics may come off as tedious and grindy to those who aren’t exactly into the whole extreme simulator niche. Interestingly enough, Gas Station Simulator has climbed to the top of Steam’s sales charts or, at least, it’s on it’s way there, anyway. It was in the number five sport as of the time...
