Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have a longer season

With Season 1 for Call of Duty: Moden Warfare starting in December 2019, players have had to deal with Christmas and New Years celebrations, leaving little time for some to enjoy the season for all it had to offer. So, whats the best way for Activision to handle this? Give us more time – not long, but a few weeks.

Announced last week, this might have pissed off the more active players that already spend a lot of time playing, claiming all the prizes, and picking up new items. The good news here is that there will be plenty new prizes, so you’ll still have something to do and acomplish while you wait for the season 2 to kick off.

“Over the next few weeks, a host of new items and challenges will arrive, including an in-game Challenge to earn the new Crossbow weapon, more remixed game modes, new playlists, and more in the Store to discover.”

There are a lot of new prizes and challenges, we’ll have to face more game modes, most of them are remixed. If these items don’t attract you, maybe the newest items in the store will do the trick.

This extended season will also bring you double XP and weapon XP starting all the way until February 11th which will definitely help some of those that didn’t have a chance to play much in December the chance to catch up. With the end of the Double XP, it will also be the end of Season 1.
