Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign is Now Available on Xbox and PC

Just one month after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign launched on the PlayStation 4, the remaster is now available on PC and Xbox. As was the case on the PlayStation 4, it’ll set you back $20.

If you’re an Xbox player, you can head over to the Microsoft store on your computer or on your Xbox and download the remastered campaign. If you’re a PC player take note that the remastered campaign is only available on Battle.net. The original release is still on Steam, so don’t confuse the two. Regardless of your platform, the remastered version comes complete with 4K support, improved textures, improved animations, and remastered audio. PC players even get ultrawide monitor support.

This is a stand-alone download for all platforms, so there’s no need for you to own Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. However, if you are a Modern Warfare or Warzone player, buying MW2 Remastered will get you the “Underwater Demo Team Classic Ghost Bundle,” which is basically a UDT Ghost skin based on the one in the Only Easy Day…Was Yesterday mission from MW2.

I should also note that Activision and Infinity Ward didn’t not include MW2 Multiplayer in the remaster, but they did have a good reason for doing so, including the introduction of older maps into Modern Warfare. However, if you’re really itching to see MW2 Multiplayer make a comeback, you can voice your opinion in a petition on Change.org. When we reported on that back at the beginning of April it had 10,202 signatures. In the last month, it has only climbed to around right around 18,500 signatures, though, so don’t hold your breath on it making any bit of difference.
