Be Who You Want In The Outer Worlds – Launch Trailer

Obsidian, now under Microsoft ownership, is returning to the open-world RPG genre, and this launch trailer proves that it pulled out all the stops. As you’ll see from the video, you’ll be able to define your own playstyle and personality. As the launch trailer points out you can be a hero, villain, colonist, brawler, assassin, priest, psychopath, liar, swindler, cook,or even a moon man that sells soap, among other roles.

Throughout the trailer, we get to see amazing alien landscapes and stunning skies, all mixed in with the occasional deadly blow or closeup of a weapon. Clearly, we’re in for one hell of a game and it’ll launch on PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PS4 on October 25th, 2019 with the PC version being available via the Epic Game Store and, not surprisiningly, the Microsoft Store. The basic version of the game will sell for $49.99, but if you subscribe to Microsoft’s Game Pass, you’ll get it for free. Those of you buying the game via disc format will be hit with a big day-one patch that you’ll be forced to download while those of us buying digitally will get to forgo the extra patch at installation.
